Result: 7th overall, 3rd in class C,
Marky’s seventh place finish put Matt 7th on the grid for the second race. He got a good start and made up a couple of places on the first lap and was making a good effort at holding on to the leading group, but after a couple of laps the faster cars started to ease away. The TR4 of Kevan Hadfield was working it’s way through the field from it’s back row start following retirement in race 1 and Matt decided not to hinder the much faster car and let him past without too much of a fight. The rest of the class C cars had been left well behind so Matt settled down to a solitary race putting in consistent laps to the flag finishing 7th overall and 3rd in class C
As the two races today were treated as two legs with an aggregate of the two deciding your overall place we were very pleased with an overall 6th place and 2nd in class C
