Yesterday we took the CR1 up to Birmingham to put it into place in the main reception area of the Millennium Point campus. This involved negotiating a building site, getting the lorry around a hairpin to back into the loading bay and having one of the access doors to the venue removed as it wasn’t wide enough for the car! Apart from that, no problem! Fortunately Mike Conboy from BCU was on the case and smoothed out all the issues, thank you Mike.
The car looks amazing, the brilliant white contrasting really well with the dark tiled floor, we couldn’t have planned a better contrasting colour scheme. The University are really excited about having such a crowd puller on display and we really appreciate the exposure that this gives us. The car will be there throughout December and into the middle of January.
