Result: 6th overall, 2nd in class C.

made a pretty good start but got caught up in a bit of a tangle on the first lap, on the enrty to Maggots another car came over from the left which meant that he had to take avoiding action and brake much harder than anticipated causing a rear brake to lock up as the front pads weren’t up to temperature and although he managed to avoid the car to his left there was contact with the no 60 MGB of Sam Polley, causing the other car to spin and both cars to lose several places however no real damage was done and everyone was still in the race.
Bluebell was running perfectly and Matt was putting consistant laps in around the 1.15 mark. Rob and Mick managed the pitstop well and the second half of the race continued with the number 60 MGB, who had timed their stop to put their car out just behind Bluebell, now breathing down Matt’s neck looking to snatch 2nd in class but Matt seemed to be able to manage his lap times to to open a 2 to 2.5 second buffer between the two MG’s taking the flag 6th overall and 2nd in class C.
