Result: 5th overall, 2nd in class D,
In the swinging 60′s group 2 race, full of some very fast cars, most of them in the same class (D) as the Red C Mike finished 11th and 5th in class having qualified 14th on the grid, also of note is that he made the second fasted pit stop of the race at 50s.
Mike qualified a very respectable 10th for his second outing of the day, the Swinging 60′s combined race which featured cars from across both the swinging sixties groups. In a race that saw him lap one of the E type Jaguars he was rewarded with 5th overall and second in class. “An exhausting but successful days racing” according to Dr McBride!
