It’s that time again! Our 33 year old Chevrolet camper leads a cosseted life, it travels a couple of thousand miles a year between the Scruffy base in Essex and most of the UKs race circuits and then spends the winter months in indoor storage however this long period of inactivity brings it’s own problems and coaxing it back into life for its journey to Marks workshop for it’s pre season service today took a couple of hours! Once it was up and running we took the opertunity to check it over to see that everything was working properly. The hob and oven, the aircon fridge etc are all fine but for some unaccountable reason the central heating has decided to refuse to work! As a rule we don’t use the heating very much but there is a difference between having it and not needing it and it not working! At close of play today the heater is partially dimantled and we have narrowed the problem down to a lack of gas, due probably to the cut off valve stuck in the ‘off’ state. We will start again on it in the morning.
9/3/11 heating fixed, motorhome with Marky!
