The C1 Racing Club runs a series for mechanically standard C1′s designed to offer motorsport enthusiasts the change to go endurance racing on a budget. Mike first suggested we give it a go and so we built the car over the winter of 2019 for the 2020 season.
Pretty much everything on the car has to be as it left the factory, engine, gearbox etc are totally standard with only uprated suspension and brake pads allowed in addition to the usual safety equipment (cage, extinguisher, harness etc.) to make it safe to race.
The races range from 3 to 24hrs in duration so we are looking forward to the challenge!
