BRSCC OSS Championship rounds 1,2 & 3
Our first outing with the Aquila Synergy alongside the BCU Racing chaps didn’t start too well with only one of the BCU Synergys making it to the circuit and that was not running due to an ecu problem. However by Saturday morning we’d come up with a plan to get the most from the cars maiden outing. As we only had one car in the race we decided to put Kevin Suenson (who was due to drive the BCU car) into our, running car as he had done all the testing of the car in Denmark.
The car ran well in qualifying and the race on Saturday and even better in the two Sunday races with Kevin bringing his lap times down each time he went out. A small issue in the last few laps of the final race didn’t dampen our spirits as the car was able to finish the race and it was an easy fix. The BCU students worked amazingly hard all weekend and really came together as a team. We are all looking forward to the next race at Rockingham in six weeks time.
