Excalibur is the brainchild of Nick and Sue Osgathorp, a ‘nostalgia slingshot dragster’ it’s built as a homage to 60′s style drag racers, from a time when the engine was in front of the driver and the clutch and differential nestled right next to the most delicate areas of his (or her) anatomy. At 3000bhp and running on Nitromethane it’s by far the most powerful car we have anything to do with! To be honest we don’t know much about drag racing but fortunately we’ll be working alongside Nick’s very experienced team to provide logistic and trackside support for the car’s appearances both for race and display events throughout 2014.
It is an amazing looking vehicle, the quality of the finish and attention to detail is stunning as can be seen from the helmet that forms part of the airbrushed artwork on the cars bodywork.
